| Basic Business Foundation:
Even before we hauled our first load, Right Way Trucking was founded on 6 basic core foundation principles as follows. Respect for the individual. If it isn’t good for everyone, it isn’t good for anyone. All business will be conducted with absolute integrity. We will strive for excellence in all endeavors. We will approach every task with an open mind. It has to make sense. Respect for the individual. I have a basic belief that more will be accomplished if everyone treats everyone else with simple basic dignity and respect. I have always endeavored to never make any distinction in how I treat anyone based on perceived educational, social, economic, religious, racial or any other perception. I intend to have a culture in the Right Way Trucking Company that reflects this simple belief. If it isn’t good for everyone, it isn’t good for anyone. This is related to respect sited above. Simple basic integrity dictates that everyone is entitled to just compensation for their work and efforts whether it is an individual or other business. We will never seek to profit in our business at the unfair expense of another. We will also always seek and expect fair compensation for our work. All business will be conducted with absolute integrity. Integrity means doing what you say you will do. When we make a commitment, we will honor it. We will manage our resources to make sure we can meet our commitments. We will never seek unfair advantage. No excuses. If you fail for any reason, you make it right. We expect the same from those with whom we conduct business. We will strive for excellence in all endeavors. I am absolutely convinced that quality and integrity will always win in the long run over cutting corners or shoddy and sloppy workmanship. Right Way Trucking is in this business for the long run. We will therefore always strive for excellence in our service. This means showing up when we say we will and meeting our commitments. We will approach every task with an open mind. Seek truth and knowledge where ever it may be found has always been a fundamental belief. In a world of such rapid change, this can be a real challenge. Our ability to compete is based on our ability to look at new methods and ways of doing business. I hope to always have a culture of open mindedness and creativity in the Right Way Trucking Company. Our ability to compete depends on everyone freely sharing ideas. It has to make sense. This was one of the hardest things for me to deal with in large organizations. So much of the time people do the dumbest things for the dumbest reasons, mostly political. The right time to do the right thing is right now. Whenever we take an action, it must make sense and have a legitimate business or personal purpose. |
